DIWAN is a Saudi company based in AlUla, founded by three young locals who combined deep regional understanding with academic and professional experience gained in France.

The founding team has backgrounds in agricultural engineering, environmental science, plant technologies, scientific research, and project management, giving DIWAN a unique ability to comprehend international projects and translate them into organized, reliable local execution.

We work as a single local counterpart responsible to the international entity: we absorb requirements in their scientific and institutional language, translate them into a clear field plan, identify appropriate local parties, establish an actionable schedule, and provide traceable documentation.

The Story Behind DIWAN

The DIWAN Story

From AlUla to France, and back to AlUla with different tools and a clearer vision.

Roots in the Place

The story of DIWAN began in AlUla, where the three founders grew up and formed a deep connection with the place: with the oasis and its seasons, the Harrah and its terrain, and the people who know every path, farm, and site.

This knowledge cannot be acquired from a report or a short visit; it is the result of years of living in the place and understanding its social and environmental rhythm.

Formed in France

Scientific Training in France

The founders moved to France to complete their academic and professional journey. During their years of study and training there, they specialized in agriculture, environment, plant technologies, and scientific research.

From that phase, they acquired the language of international institutional work: protocols, sampling methodologies, quality control, schedule compliance, and documentation culture. Upon returning to AlUla, they founded DIWAN to be a bridge between international expertise and local execution.
